Axi broker is an established forex broker that has been operating since 2007 and provides its services through several international entities within the group, with licenses such as CySEC and FSA. With an Execution-Only model and direct market access, Axi offers trading on MetaTrader 4 and 5. In this overview, Teagle's editorial team reviews Axi's licenses, accounts, payments and key legal points for Iranian users, based on Teagle's data.
What kind of broker is Axi?
Axi has about 19 years of history, serves clients in fourteen languages, has regional offices and offers 24-hour support. According to the profile registered on Teagle, more than 650 instruments are tradable, including forex, stocks, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies. The Axi Select tool and smart analytical features are also among its features. A wide range of additional services is offered: bonus, cashback, rebate, education, copy trading, PAMM, VPS, an IB program, economic calendar and calculators. Scalping, hedging, using expert advisors and trading during news are also allowed. Axi provides execution-only services and gives no financial advice or buy/sell recommendations.
Axi broker licenses and credibility
Two active licenses are registered for Axi in Teagle's listing:
- Cyprus CySEC (No. 433/23- HE376148) – active;
- FSA (No. 4303 LLC 2025) – active.
However, the answer to the question “Is Axi regulated?” depends on the entity you open your account with. Iranian users operate through AxiTrader LLC, which is registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and, according to the broker's own agreement, is not supervised by a financial regulator. Other group companies hold local licenses in countries such as Australia, the UK and Cyprus, but these licenses do not extend to the international entity. Membership in The Financial Commission, with a verifiable certificate, is a dispute resolution mechanism, not regulation. We have explained the difference between these levels in the articles Offshore and Onshore Brokers and Broker Regulation Guide .
Clause 21-3 of the agreement and client fund risk
According to Teagle's expert, the most important cautionary point is clause 21-3 of the client agreement. Under this clause, client funds may be held in a pooled manner and used to cover trading obligations, and if the company goes bankrupt, the client would rank as an unsecured creditor. Axi has disclosed this risk transparently and made its legal documents and product schedule available as PDFs; but for anyone who prioritizes segregation of funds, this clause is decisive.
Does Axi serve Iranians?
Iran's status is not clearly specified in Axi's official documents. Teagle's expert says Iran appears in the registration form, but Axi has no Persian website or support and no Rial deposits, and different sources have given conflicting information about accepting Iranians. Before opening an account, ask support and get a written answer. Axi's services are not available to residents of certain countries, including France, Australia and New Zealand.
Axi trading accounts
The table registered on Teagle shows two accounts, both offered on MT4, MT5 and AxiApp, with floating spreads, more than 220 CFDs and an Islamic version:
- Standard account: minimum deposit $5, no commission, spreads from 0.7 pips and a 15% stop-out.
- Pro account: minimum deposit $100, spreads from 0 pips, commission from $4.5 and a 10% stop-out.
The maximum leverage in the accounts table is listed as 1:30, while Teagle's general specifications show 1:1000; the actual leverage depends on the entity providing the account, and you should check it when registering. A cent account is also mentioned in Teagle's tags. If you are undecided between these two accounts, the article ECN Accounts and Comparison with Other Accounts can help.
Axi platforms and services
MetaTrader 4 and 5 are available for Windows, Mac, Android, iOS and web, and the dedicated AxiApp is also offered. Copy trading and AI tools are considered strengths of this broker; if you are interested in this style, read the copy trading guide . Check the bonus terms on the broker bonus page as well.
Deposits and withdrawals at Axi
The announced methods include bank wire, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and local methods. With debit and credit cards, the minimum deposit and withdrawal is $5, and processing is instant and fee-free. Bank wire deposits are accepted from 10 euros and withdrawals from 30 euros, taking 1 to 3 days. There is no Rial method.
Axi's rating and risk on Teagle
Axi's final rating on Teagle is 3.8 out of 5: WikiFX 4.42, Trustpilot 4.1, Teagle expert 4 and Forex Peace Army 2.69; no reviews from Teagle users have been registered yet. Axi's Teagle Eye risk index is 30 out of 100, in the “low to medium risk” category. This index assesses the group's licenses, but the entity Iranian users contract with is not supervised.
Axi broker pros and cons
- Pro: long track record and global presence since 2007
- Pro: open access to legal documents and membership in the Financial Commission
- Pro: $5 minimum deposit and a variety of platforms and services
- Con: the international entity is not supervised by a financial regulator
- Con: clause 21-3 and the possibility of pooled holding of funds
- Con: no Persian website or support and no Rial deposits
Who is Axi suitable for?
In the view of Teagle's expert, Axi is better suited to experienced traders who knowingly accept that the international entity has no regulator. It is not suitable for those who need Persian support and Rial deposits or who prioritize segregation of funds. For comparison, see the Axi vs. Pepperstone comparison .
Conclusion
Axi broker is credible in terms of track record and infrastructure, but Iranian users' accounts are opened under an entity without financial supervision. Ask about acceptance status in writing, start with a small amount, make a test withdrawal and keep an eye on the warnings on Teagle's risk warning page .
