Expert Review: Is FreshForex Broker Suitable for Iranians?

Complete Introduction to FreshForex Broker

Teagle editorial team, updated October 25, 2026

FreshForex broker has been operating since 2004 and is familiar to some Iranian traders for its very high leverage, swap-free accounts and wide range of crypto and electronic payment methods. In this overview, we review FreshForex's license, accounts, platforms, deposit and withdrawal methods, and the risks of working with it based on Teagle's data.

What kind of broker is FreshForex?

FreshForex is a broker with about 22 years of history, and Teagle's data lists Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as its country of registration. According to the broker itself, more than one million clients use its services. FreshForex offers more than 270 trading instruments across forex, CFDs, cryptocurrencies, stocks, stock indices, metals and energy, and it allows scalping, hedging, news trading, phone trading and the use of expert advisors. Educational content, trading signals and online support are also offered alongside its core services.

FreshForex broker licenses and credibility

According to Teagle's latest review, FreshForex has only one active registration:

  • FSA of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVGFSA): number 20623 BC 2012, status Active.

This is a weak offshore registration; the Saint Vincent financial authority does not actually supervise forex activity and does not provide a credible protection mechanism for clients. Teagle's expert also considers the lack of credible international regulation to be this broker's biggest weakness and regards FreshForex as a high-risk option in terms of fund safety. We have explained the difference between this type of registration and top-tier licenses in the article the difference between offshore and onshore brokers .

Does FreshForex serve Iranians?

Teagle's data records that FreshForex serves Iran, but Teagle's expert has doubts about whether Iranian users are officially accepted. Strict identity verification and the possible need for official translations of documents are also points you should know before signing up. Accessing the broker's website may also require changing your IP. Teagle recommends carefully checking the conditions for accepting Iranian clients and the ability to withdraw funds before opening an account.

FreshForex trading accounts

FreshForex has three main accounts with floating spreads and the same minimum deposit of $25, all offered on MT4 and MT5:

  • Classic account: no commission, spreads from 2 pips and leverage up to 1:2000; stop-out at 20%.
  • Market Pro account: no commission, spreads from 0.9 pips and leverage up to 1:1000; stop-out at 40%.
  • ECN account: spreads from zero, commission of $1.9 per lot and leverage up to 1:1000; stop-out at 60%.

The margin call level is 100% on all three accounts, and a swap-free version is available for all of them; however, according to Teagle, the Swap-Free service does not cover stock and crypto trading. A Cent account is also listed among the broker's features, but its specifications are not recorded in Teagle's accounts table. To learn about this type of account, see the article best brokers for cent accounts . Leverage of 1:2000 is very risky; before using it, read the guide margin in forex .

FreshForex platforms and services

Trading at FreshForex takes place on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, which are available for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS, with a Linux version also offered for MT4. The broker's additional services include bonuses, cashback, rebates, copy trading, support for expert advisors and trading robots, a virtual private server (VPS), an IB partnership program, education and an economic calendar. Follow the terms of active bonuses on the broker bonuses page and read the rules for withdrawing bonus profits before accepting one.

Deposits and withdrawals at FreshForex

FreshForex has more than 20 payment methods, including bank cards, cryptocurrencies and e-wallets, and the minimum deposit is $25 for all methods. The minimum withdrawal varies in each user's personal cabinet. Examples of withdrawal fees according to Teagle's table:

  • Tether TRC20: free deposits, withdrawals at 0.5% plus $2; on the ERC20 network, withdrawals at 0.5% plus $5.
  • Perfect Money and FasaPay: free deposits and withdrawals at 0.5%, with instant processing.
  • Bitcoin and Litecoin: free deposits; withdrawals at 1% for Bitcoin and 0.5% for Litecoin.
  • Credit card: withdrawals at 2.5% plus 5 dollars or euros, taking up to 5 bank business days.

WebMoney has a 1.5% gateway fee for deposits, and advcash charges 2% for withdrawals.

FreshForex rating and risk on Teagle

FreshForex's final rating on Teagle is 2.35 out of 5, derived from three sources: Trustpilot 3.6, Forex Peace Army 2.24 and WikiFX 1.2. No user has posted a review of this broker on Teagle yet. Teagle Eye's risk score for FreshForex is 55 out of 100, in the "medium risk" category; its 22-year history has kept this number down, but its only active license being offshore and its low reputation ratings have pushed the risk weighting up.

Pros and cons of FreshForex broker

  • Pro: long history since 2004
  • Pro: swap-free account and Cent account
  • Pro: variety of deposit and withdrawal methods, including non-bank and crypto methods
  • Con: no top-tier regulation and only one offshore registration
  • Con: high risk of leverage up to 1:2000 and no coverage of stocks and cryptocurrencies in the Swap-Free service
  • Con: uncertainty about official acceptance of Iranians and strict identity verification

Who is FreshForex suitable for?

FreshForex suits experienced, risk-tolerant traders who value a wide range of instruments, non-bank payment methods, a swap-free account and high leverage, and who knowingly accept the risk of working with an offshore broker. Conservative traders and those with large capital who want strong legal protection should consider other options. Before deciding, weigh it up in the FreshForex vs RoboForex comparison or see the list of brokers suitable for small capital .

Conclusion

In terms of trading features and payment methods, FreshForex is usable for Iranians, but its regulatory weakness and the uncertainty about officially accepting Iranians place it among high-risk options. Start with small capital, make a test withdrawal before depositing more, and follow the latest warnings on the investment risk warning page .
