NYX broker is a brokerage operating under the slogan "Trade beyond borders", and with a Persian website, Persian-language support and acceptance of Iranian clients, it has targeted part of the Iranian market. However, Teagle's review shows that this broker holds no verifiable regulatory license. In this overview, we have examined NYX's legal status, accounts, payment methods and the risks of working with it based on Teagle's data, so you have a clear picture before making any deposit.
What kind of broker is NYX?
NYX states that it operates under the name NYX Markets Ltd and that its management team has more than 9 years of experience in financial markets; Teagle's data records its founding year as 2017. The broker supports only MetaTrader 5 and offers trading in forex, precious metals, commodities and stock indices. NYX places particular focus on copy trading and on growing its introducing broker (IB) network, and its website is available in five languages, including Persian and English. According to the broker itself, it does not serve residents of the United States, the UAE or Turkey.
NYX broker licenses and credibility
No active license is recorded for NYX in Teagle's license list. The broker's official website shows no regulator name, license number or regulatory verification link, and only mentions that the company is registered in Saint Lucia. Verifiable legal documents such as a client agreement, execution policy or risk disclosure have not been published either, and the company's address is incomplete. Registering a company in an offshore jurisdiction is not the same as having brokerage activity regulated; we have explained this difference in the article What are offshore and onshore brokers and the guide Broker regulation and its tiers .
According to Teagle, there are also contradictions in the information published by NYX: the required minimum deposit is stated differently in different sections of the website, there are discrepancies regarding its track record, payment methods and account structure, and claims such as holding funds in reputable banks are made without verifiable evidence.
Does NYX accept Iranian clients?
Yes. Iran is not on NYX's list of restricted countries, and the website has a full Persian version and Persian-language support. However, Teagle's editorial team warns that beginners should not treat a Persian website and unrestricted acceptance as signs of credibility. In the absence of official oversight, if a dispute or a withdrawal problem arises, there is no clear path for pursuing it.
NYX trading accounts
NYX offers three floating-spread accounts on MetaTrader 5, all of which have an Islamic version and no requotes:
- ECN account: minimum deposit of $1000 according to Teagle's table, commission of $8 to $12 per lot, leverage up to 1:500, and 36 currency pairs, gold, oil and indices.
- COPY TRADE account: minimum deposit of $1500, commission from $2 per lot depending on the symbol, and leverage up to 1:3000.
- CUSTOM account: minimum deposit of $20000, spreads from 0.1 pips, leverage up to 1:2000, and adjustable stop-out and margin call levels.
On the ECN and COPY TRADE accounts, the margin call is 60% and the stop-out is 30%. Teagle's expert recommends investigating more carefully before accepting offers such as a custom account with very high leverage; see the dangers of such leverage in the guide Leverage and leveraged trading .
NYX platform and services
NYX's only platform is MetaTrader 5, available for Android, iOS and Windows, and it supports expert advisors and algorithmic trading. Additional services include copy trading, social trading, expert advisors and trading bots, and an IB program. If the copy trade account appeals to you, first of all get to know how copy trading works and its risks .
Deposits and withdrawals at NYX
According to Teagle's payment table, deposits and withdrawals by bank transfer and debit or credit card have a minimum of $5000 and carry a 6% to 8% fee in both directions. Deposits in Tether from $100 and in Bitcoin from 0.005 BTC are fee-free and processed within 1 to 60 minutes, but crypto withdrawals cost 2% plus the network fee. More important than the numbers is that, according to Teagle, moving money at NYX is entirely manual: every deposit and withdrawal goes through support via chat or email, not an automated gateway.
NYX rating and risk on Teagle
NYX's final rating on Teagle is 1.9 out of 5, derived from the average of three sources: Trustpilot 2.7, Teagle's expert 2 and WikiFX 1. No reviews from Teagle users have been submitted yet. The Teagle Eye risk score for this broker is 71 out of 100, in the "High risk" category; the absence of any active license is the main factor behind this figure. Follow its status on the warning list of high-risk brokers .
NYX broker pros and cons
- Pro: accepts Iranian clients and offers a Persian website and support
- Pro: fee-free crypto deposits
- Pro: MetaTrader 5 with expert advisor support and a copy trade account
- Con: complete lack of regulation and no verifiable license
- Con: no legal documents and contradictory information on the website
- Con: manual deposits and withdrawals and heavy fees for some methods
Who is NYX suitable for?
Given the complete lack of regulation, the absence of legal documents, the incomplete company address and the manual handling of funds, Teagle's editorial team cannot recommend NYX to any group of traders. Conclusion
Despite its Persian-language services, NYX is in a very weak position in terms of legal and regulatory transparency. Do not put significant capital into it. If you already have an active account, avoid adding funds, make a small test withdrawal, save all receipts, trade records and correspondence, and follow new warnings on the investment risk warning page .
