Introduction and history of Vida Markets

Vida Markets started operating around 2022, but its company has been under the supervision of South Africa's FSCA regulation since 2010 under the company name Vida Global Markets (PTY) Ltd. However, the official Vida Markets website states that online services are provided by Vida Markets Limited in Anguilla on an unregulated basis. This broker is active in the forex and digital asset markets. Services are not offered to Iran either, because this broker excludes jurisdictions on the FATF list from its services, and Iran remains on that list.

Expert review: Is Vida Markets broker suitable for Iranian users?

Complete introduction to Vida Markets broker

Teagle editorial team, updated October 25, 2026

Vida Markets is a relatively young broker in the forex and digital asset market that, according to Teagle's data, has been operating since around 2022. The broker's website has a Persian version, but the most important point for Iranian users is that Vida Markets officially does not serve residents of Iran. In this overview, we review the licenses, accounts, platforms and risks of Vida Markets based on Teagle's data.

What kind of broker is Vida Markets?

Vida Markets has a two-part legal structure. A company named Vida Global Markets (PTY) Ltd is supervised by the South African regulator and, according to the broker, has been registered under this oversight since 2010; however, the official Vida Markets website states that online services are provided by Vida Markets Limited in Anguilla on an unregulated basis. Teagle's profile also lists the broker's country as Anguilla and its operating history as about 4 years. Trading instruments include forex, crypto, indices and commodities.

Vida Markets licenses and credibility

According to Teagle's latest review, Vida Markets holds one active license:

  • FSCA South Africa (Financial Sector Conduct Authority) under number 42734 (active).

However, the broker itself says that the services offered through the website fall under the Anguilla company and are unregulated. This means the FSCA license does not necessarily provide legal protection for accounts opened through the website. This is the same difference between a group's regulated company and the offshore company that provides the services, which we have explained in the article the difference between offshore and onshore brokers and the guide broker regulation and its tiers .

Does Vida Markets serve Iranians?

No. Vida Markets has explicitly stated that it does not serve jurisdictions on the FATF list, and Iran is on this list. Despite the Persian website, Teagle's data carries the label "IP change required", and Teagle has warned that opening an account from Iran using methods such as a static IP can lead to the account being blocked. For the same reason, Teagle's expert does not consider this broker a suitable option for residents of Iran.

Vida Markets trading accounts

Vida Markets has two main accounts, both offered with a minimum deposit of $30, floating spreads, a 50% margin call, a 20% stop-out and an Islamic version, and with no requotes:

  • STP account: spreads from 1.2 pips and no commission;
  • ECN account: spreads from 0 pips and a commission of $12 to $14 per lot.

The maximum leverage listed in the broker's features is 1:1000; leverage that is very risky for beginners, and before using it you should read the guide leverage and leveraged trading . The $12 to $14 commission on the ECN account is also high compared with many competitors; to calculate the total cost, see the article the ECN account and how it compares with other accounts .

Vida Markets platforms and services

Trading takes place on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 (Windows, Android and iOS) and the VM Social platform. The list of services includes copy trading, social trading, PAMM, expert advisors and trading robots, rebates, bonuses and an economic calendar, and scalping and hedging are also allowed. Teagle considers this broker better suited to those interested in PAMM accounts. If you are not familiar with this type of trading, read the copy trading guide .

Deposits and withdrawals at Vida Markets

The listed payment methods are credit cards, bank transfers, cryptocurrencies and e-wallets. The minimum deposit is stated as $50 by card, $100 by bank transfer and $25 by crypto and e-wallet; these figures are not fully consistent with the accounts' $30 minimum deposit, so it is best to ask about it before depositing. Card, bank and e-wallet deposits and withdrawals are free, and for crypto the fee depends on the network. Card deposits are instant, crypto deposits take 15 to 60 minutes and bank deposits 1 to 3 business days; withdrawal processing times are not recorded in Teagle's data.

Vida Markets rating and risk on Teagle

Vida Markets' final rating on Teagle is 2.3 out of 5, the average of two sources: Trustpilot 2.9 and WikiFX 1.7; no reviews from Teagle users have been submitted yet. The Teagle Eye risk score for this broker is 51 out of 100, in the "medium risk" category; the FSCA license has lowered the risk, but the low credibility score and short track record have raised it.

Vida Markets pros and cons

  • Pro: supports MetaTrader 4 and 5 and the VM Social platform
  • Pro: copy trading, PAMM accounts and Islamic accounts
  • Pro: low minimum deposit and a Persian website
  • Con: no services for residents of Iran and the risk of account blocking
  • Con: the website's online services are unregulated (Anguilla company)
  • Con: high commission on the ECN account and a low WikiFX rating

Who is Vida Markets suitable for?

Vida Markets is worth considering for traders outside restricted countries who are interested in PAMM accounts and copy trading. It is not suitable for users residing in Iran or for those who care that the online services are unregulated. If you are looking for an accessible option with small capital, see the ranking of low-deposit brokers or weigh up Vida Markets in the Vida Markets vs Just Markets comparison .

Conclusion

Vida Markets offers acceptable features in terms of accounts and platforms, but its official ban on serving Iran and the unregulated status of its website services make it high-risk for Iranian users. If you still decide to work with it, start with only a small amount, make a test withdrawal and follow the latest warnings on the risk warning page .
