VT Markets broker is a broker from the Vantage group that has been operating since 2015 and, until recently, was well known among Iranian traders for its Persian website, Persian support and Rial and crypto payments. However, according to VT Markets itself, services to Iranians have been discontinued. In this overview, we review VT Markets' current status, licenses, accounts and risks based on Teagle's data.
What kind of broker is VT Markets?
VT Markets started operating in 2015 in Sydney and is considered a subsidiary of Vantage International Group Limited; in its Teagle profile, its country of registration is listed as the United Kingdom. The broker offers more than 1000 trading instruments, including forex currency pairs, stocks, metals and cryptocurrencies, as CFDs. We have covered how this brand emerged from the Vantage group in the article From Vantage FX to VT Markets .
Does VT Markets serve Iranians?
No. According to the Farvardin 1405 update, VT Markets has stopped serving Iranians, and Iranian users with accounts had until 30 April 2026 (10 Ordibehesht 1405) to settle the status of their accounts and funds; this deadline has now passed. One Teagle user has also written that, like Startrader and Monta Markets, this broker no longer provides services to Iran.
VT Markets broker licenses and credibility
VT Markets' regulatory status is one of its unclear points. Four bodies are listed in Teagle's license list:
- FSCA (No. 50865), with active status;
- SCA (No. 20200000299), with active status;
- CySEC Cyprus (No. HE436466), without active status in Teagle's data;
- FSC (No. GB23202269), without active status in Teagle's data.
According to Teagle's expert, this broker apparently obtained an ASIC license under a different name in the past, but its Australian website is now not even accessible. It also mentions CySEC at the bottom of its website, but a careful reading of the text shows that it is not supervised by this body. Segregated accounts, $1 million insurance and membership in the Financial Commission are among the security layers mentioned. To assess the value of each license, see the guide on broker regulation and how it is graded .
VT Markets trading accounts
- Standard STP: minimum deposit $100, no commission, floating spread from 1.2 pips and leverage up to 1:500;
- ECN Raw: minimum deposit $100, commission of $6 per lot, spread from zero and leverage up to 1:500;
- PRO ECN: commission up to $4 on MT5; its minimum deposit is not listed;
- CENT ECN and CENT STP: minimum deposit $50 on MT5, only for forex, gold, silver and oil; the former with a $6 commission and spread from zero, the latter commission-free with spread from 1.1 pips.
An Islamic (swap-free) version is available for Standard STP, ECN Raw and PRO ECN accounts. Teagle's expert considers the spread and commission costs of some of this broker's accounts, especially the Standard account, to be higher than other options active in the Iranian market. To compare these two cost models, read the guide on ECN accounts and how they differ from standard accounts and the article on spread in forex trading .
VT Markets platforms and services
VT Markets works on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, WebTrader and its own proprietary app, and according to Teagle's data also supports TradingView. Its additional services are extensive: copy trading, PAMM and MAM accounts for money managers, bonuses, cashback and rebates, virtual private server (VPS), education and Market Buzz. To learn about this service, read the copy trading guide .
Deposits and withdrawals at VT Markets
On the broker's international system, deposits are made via Visa and Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, FasaPay, e-wallets and bank wire. Withdrawals usually take 1 to 3 business days, and the listed fees are 1% for Skrill, 2% for Neteller, 0.5% for FasaPay and $20 for bank wire (except the first withdrawal of the month).
VT Markets score and risk on Teagle
VT Markets' final score on Teagle is 3.43 out of 5, derived from five sources: WikiFX 4.34, Trustpilot 4, Teagle users 4, Teagle expert 3.8 and Forex Peace Army 1. The Teagle Eye risk index for this broker is 26 out of 100, in the "low to medium risk" category, influenced by its two active FSCA and SCA licenses and its 11-year track record. Pros and cons of VT Markets broker
- Pro: segregated accounts, $1 million insurance and Financial Commission membership
- Pro: ECN Raw account with spreads from zero and support for MT4, MT5 and TradingView

Who is VT Markets suitable for?
In Teagle's assessment, VT Markets was an option worth considering for experienced traders who prioritize fast trading infrastructure, but it is not suitable for beginners unfamiliar with the complexities of spread costs. With services to Iranians discontinued, Iranian traders effectively have to look for an alternative. To find a similar option, evaluate VT Markets in the VT Markets vs XS Trades comparison and also learn about the concept of slippage in forex .
Conclusion
In terms of account variety, platforms and services, VT Markets is a professional broker, but the ambiguity in its licenses, the high cost of some accounts and, most importantly, the discontinuation of services to Iranians remove it from the list of current options for Iranian users. If you still have funds with this broker, coordinate with support to withdraw them, and when choosing an alternative, start with small capital, make a test withdrawal and check Teagle's risk warnings .
