Complete Guide to Using Binance Exchange: From Sign-Up to Your First Trade

To register on the Binance exchange, follow the steps below:

1. Change your IP to a region where Binance provides services and go to the website. If you live in one of those regions, there is no need to change your IP.

2. In the top right corner of the homepage, click the «Sign Up» button.

 

3. Binance offers 3 options for registration: email or Gmail account, phone number, Apple account and Telegram account. Note that registration with an Iranian mobile number is not accepted.

 

 

4. If you registered with an email or mobile number, you will receive a 6-digit code in your email inbox or via SMS, which you must enter on the page that opens.

 

5. Next, you will be asked to create a secure password.

 

 

6. Finally, your account will be created.

Identity verification (KYC) on the Binance exchange

After completing the registration steps, your account is created and the identity verification process begins. For Iranian users, this is where the restrictions described in the previous section come into play. In general, to verify your identity on the Binance exchange, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your user panel, select Account from the left corner, go to the Identification section and click Get Verified.



 

2. On the page that opens, select your country of residence and the document type, and upload a scan of the front and back of the selected document.

 

3. Next, you will be asked to show your face through the camera for a liveness check.

 

4. Next, you must enter your personal information.

 

5. Finally, the information you entered will be reviewed by the Binance team, and once approved, your identity verification process will be complete.

Without completing identity verification, using Binance exchange services is very limited or impossible. Even if a trader manages to bypass the restrictions with methods such as changing their IP or connecting to a VPS, the risk of account suspension and frozen assets still remains, because Binance periodically reviews accounts.

To deposit cryptocurrency to the Binance exchange, follow these steps:

 

1. Open the Binance app and tap Deposit.
 

 

2. Select Deposit Crypto.

 

3. Choose the cryptocurrency you want. (For example, Binance Coin BNB)

4. At this step, the networks available for depositing the chosen coin, for example BNB, are shown to you. Make sure the network you select is the same as the network on the platform you are withdrawing from.

 

5. Next, a  QR Code and a deposit address (Deposit Address) for your selected network are displayed. Click the copy icon to copy the address. Then paste it into the withdrawal address field on the platform you are withdrawing from. You can also select Save and Share Address to save the QR Code and use it directly on the withdrawal platform.

 

6. You can choose which of your wallets the asset is deposited to. To do this, click More Details. Then select Spot Wallet and specify whether the deposit should go to your spot wallet or your funding wallet.

 

7. Finally, once the deposit request is confirmed, your transaction is processed; its final confirmation depends on network traffic.

To withdraw crypto from the Binance exchange, follow these steps:

1. Open the Binance app, tap Assets and then tap Send.

 

2. Select the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw and tap On-Chain Withdraw.

 

3. Enter the destination address you want to send the crypto to, then select the network you want.

 

4. Enter the recipient address and the amount you want to withdraw. The transaction fee and the final amount you will receive will then be shown to you. You can also choose the account you want to withdraw from after tapping Withdraw.

 

5. You will be asked to confirm the transaction again. Please check the withdrawal address and network carefully before tapping Confirm.

 

6. Confirm the transaction using a Passkey or two-factor authentication (2FA) devices. Once your withdrawal request is confirmed, your transfer will be processed.
