Introduction and Review of Changelly Exchange
The centralized exchange Changelly began operating in 2015, and its notable feature is that crypto conversions can be done in a non-custodial mode under DeFi; in other words, users' assets are not held in an exchange account, and the received cryptocurrency is sent to the wallet address the user provides. Changelly now covers more than 1000 cryptocurrencies; however, its services are not offered to users residing in Iran.

Changelly Exchange Ranking and Credibility
According to claims on the Changelly website, this exchange has more than 12 million registered users and over 1000 cryptocurrencies. However, according to a notice published on the official website of the Saint Vincent financial regulator on 4 May 2026, it was announced that Marella LLC, trading as Changelly, did not hold a license or registration in this field, and the company's registration was cancelled on 25 July 2025. Therefore, given this notice on the one hand, and the absence of a displayed score and the presence of a «warning» label for this exchange on Trustpilot on the other, Changelly's ranking and credibility are uncertain.
Review of Changelly's Hack and Fraud History
So far, no official report of a successful hack of the Changelly exchange has been published. As mentioned above, Saint Vincent has issued a report indicating that the country's regulator denies supervising Changelly, which in itself is considered a weakness. In addition, in recent years, user complaints about halted transactions have been published on reputable review platforms; these do not in themselves mean fraud, and Changelly has also responded to some of the users' comments.
