How to Register and Use Dpex Crypto Exchange (Digikala)
To buy cryptocurrency on the Dpex exchange, you first create an account, complete identity verification and fund your Toman wallet. Then you can use the instant buy and sell section or the spot market. In this guide, we go through the steps from registration to trading and withdrawing Toman, step by step.
What Should You Know Before Signing Up on DPEX?
Before you start, have a mobile number registered in your own name, your national ID number, date of birth and your bank account's Sheba number ready. The identity details you enter must match the owner of the mobile number. Registration alone does not unlock all features. The account levels differ as follows:
|
Account level |
Features shown in the panel |
|
Level zero |
Toman deposits, trading, Toman withdrawals and loans are not enabled |
|
Standard level |
Toman deposits, trading and loans are enabled; Toman withdrawals are not |
|
Premium level |
Toman withdrawals are also enabled alongside the standard-level features |
Registration is free, but buying and selling carry fees. Also, don't confuse the exchange wallet with a personal wallet; under Article 7 of Dpex's terms, assets may be held in custody and the private key is not given to the user.
Regarding the name «Digikala exchange», it is also worth knowing the service's legal name. In the terms of use, the contracting party is named as «Novavaran Pardakht Majazi Iranian (Digipay)».

1. From the home page or the Wallet section, select «Deposit».
2. In the Toman deposit form, enter the desired amount.
3. Select the «Bank Deposit» method and tap «Confirm and Continue».
4. Select the verified source bank account. If the account you want is not on the list, use «Add New Account».
5. Copy the destination card number, account number or IBAN (Sheba) from the same page.
6. Open your banking app and transfer the funds from the selected source account using a suitable method such as card-to-card, account-to-account or Paya/Satna.
7. Once the bank confirms, the amount is automatically added to your Toman wallet.
To check the status, use «Deposit Tracking» or «Transaction History». Get the destination account number from the panel each time, and when transferring in your banking app, check the difference between Rial and Toman.
How to Buy and Sell Cryptocurrency on DPEX
DPEX has two sections for buying and selling: «Instant» and «Spot». In the Instant section, you see a simple form for buying, selling and converting; in Spot, besides the order form, a price chart and the order book are available.
To buy crypto with Toman from the Instant section:
1. Go to «Trade» and select «Instant».
2. Open the «Buy» tab.
3. In the «I pay» field, enter the amount in Toman.
4. In the «I receive» field, select the cryptocurrency you want.
5. Check the amount you will receive, the exchange rate and the final cost, then confirm the purchase.
To buy in Spot:
1. Select the «Spot» tab.
2. From the market list, open the pair you want with Toman as the quote currency; for example, BTC/IRT for Bitcoin/Toman.
3. Select «Buy» and the order type.
4. For a «Limit» order, enter the price and the amount of crypto.
5. Check the total amount and the fee, and place the order.
6. Track its status under «Open orders» and «Trades».
Placing an order does not mean it has been filled. An order at the set price may not be executed immediately, or only part of it may be filled.
To sell crypto and receive Toman in the Instant section, select the «Sell» tab, specify the cryptocurrency and the amount to sell, and check the Toman amount you will receive. In Spot, open the crypto/Toman market, tap «Sell» and enter the price and amount. Once the trade is done, check the result in your wallet balance and trade history.
To convert one cryptocurrency to another, follow these steps:
1. In the «Instant» section, select the «Convert» tab.
2. In the «I pay» box, specify the source currency.
3. In the «I receive» box, select the target currency.
4. Enter the amount of the source currency.
5. Check the conversion rate and the amount you will receive, and tap «Convert».
For example, you can convert Bitcoin to Tether; however, you must have enough available balance. If the message «Insufficient balance» appears, the operation has not been carried out.
Regarding trading costs on DPEX, it should be noted that according to the official FAQ, the spot fee depends on the account's fee tier and the trading volume over a set period. The exact amount can be seen before the order is finally placed and in the trade history; so a single fixed percentage cannot be stated for all users.
In instant buying and converting, check the amount you pay and the amount you receive together. The difference between the buy and sell rates is not the same as the fee. The minimum trade amount also depends on the currency and is shown on the trading page.
How Does Buying Tether on Credit Work on DPEX?
The path shown in the panel is «Instant Loan Backed by Tether Collateral». To use it, you must already have enough assets for collateral; simply creating an account does not give you purchasing credit.
1. From the home page, go to the «Loan» section.
2. Choose a suitable plan based on the amount, repayment period, required collateral and installment amount.
3. Tap «Request».
4. Review the amount received, the collateral, the fee and the «List and Details of Installments».
5. If your collateral balance is not enough, use «Increase Tether Balance».
6. After providing the collateral, read the contract terms and continue the request until final approval.
In one of the plans shown, a one-month 35 USDT loan requires 58.1 USDT in collateral; the fee is listed as 1.5 percent and the installment amount as 35.53 USDT. These figures apply to that plan only and should not be generalized to all loans.
The collateralized assets are not released until the loan is fully settled. Also read the conditions for collateral liquidation and the consequences of late payment before taking the loan.
How to Withdraw Toman from DPEX Exchange
First, complete the special-level identity verification. If your assets are in crypto, to withdraw Toman you need to sell the desired amount and have a withdrawable Toman balance.
According to the withdrawal guide on the Dpex homepage, the steps for submitting a request are as follows:
1. Log in to your account and select «Withdraw».
2. Open the «Toman Withdrawal» option.
3. Enter the withdrawal amount in Toman.
4. Select the destination bank card.
5. Review the amount and destination details and tap «Final Confirmation».
To track it, go to «Activity History», select «Rial Withdrawal» and open the transaction details.
Submitting a request does not mean an instant deposit to your bank. For example, settlement via PAYA depends on banking cycles and the absence of disruptions. Also check the withdrawal fee and limits in the panel before confirming; in the sources reviewed, no specific, reliable figures for them were found.
What Should You Check Before Your First Purchase on DPEX?
Before confirming a trade, review the following:
- Verification level: Trading requires the standard level, and withdrawing Toman requires the advanced level.
- Available balance: Do not count assets locked in orders or as collateral as usable funds.
- Coin and market base: For example, BTC/IRT is different from BTC/USDT; the first is traded against Toman and the second against Tether.
- Order type: With a limit order, you set the price, and immediate execution is not guaranteed.
- Final cost: Read the fee, the amount paid and the amount received before confirming.
- Minimum and maximum trade size: Check the limits shown for the coin and for your own account.
- Ability to withdraw assets: If you plan to transfer to a personal wallet, get confirmation from support that crypto withdrawals are enabled before buying.
To get familiar with the steps, make your first trade with a small amount and check the result in your balance and trade history.
