About SarrafEx Exchange

SarrafEx (Sarraf-Ex) is a knowledge-based Iranian crypto exchange based in Tehran that operates officially within the framework of the country's laws and is also a member of the Iran Blockchain Association. The platform's most important competitive advantage is that its trading core is connected to global markets, a feature that gives users access to good market depth, active orders and fast trade execution, without exposing their assets to the restrictions and account-freezing risks of foreign exchanges.

The use of multi-signature wallets, Multiple-Key Sharding technology, two-factor authentication and an anti-phishing code are also part of its security infrastructure. 24/7 support on every day of the week rounds out SarrafEx's range of services for Iranian users.

SarrafEx Exchange Credibility, Ranking and Global Standing

Credibility and security details

To assess Sarrafex's credibility, one must distinguish between «legal identity», «membership in trade associations», «a license to operate a crypto exchange» and «operational credibility». Sarrafex was registered as a limited liability company under the legal name Danesh Hooshmand Donyaye Majazi Technology Company on 11 Mehr 1401, with registration number 602795 and national ID 14011548212. Therefore, the legal identity and place of operation of this company are traceable. The company's name also appears on the member list of the Iran Fintech Association, and its membership in the Iran Blockchain Association has been reported.

However, company registration, knowledge-based status or membership in specialized associations does not mean holding an independent and definitive license to custody and exchange crypto. Also, according to the latest published inquiry, Sarrafex's membership in the Computer Trade Organization ended in Ordibehesht 1403, and no valid public evidence of its renewal has been seen. Therefore, these items should be regarded as signs of the company's identity and operating history, not as a guarantee of capital safety or fulfillment of financial obligations.

In terms of global standing, at the time of this review Sarrafex is not listed among the ranked exchanges on CoinMarketCap or in CoinGecko's exchange trust score table. As a result, no specific global rank, verified trading volume, international trust score or citable market share is available for it. Sarrafex is mainly considered a centralized platform targeting the Iranian market, and the claim that its trading core is connected to global markets is not, on its own, enough to place it among international exchanges.

Overall, in terms of registered identity, Sarrafex is not an anonymous company or one without an address; however, the lack of a credible global ranking, the absence of a proof-of-reserves report and ongoing disruptions to asset withdrawals mean that its operational credibility under current conditions comes with serious uncertainty. Therefore, the company's official registration or membership in trade associations alone is not enough to assess the security of this exchange, and the actual status of withdrawals should be tested and checked again before making any deposit.

Has the Sarrafex exchange had a history of hacks or fraud?

As of this writing, no official and verified report has been published by the Cyber Police (FATA), judicial authorities or credible trade bodies of a hack of Sarrafex's infrastructure, large-scale theft of user assets or a conviction of the company for fraud. Therefore, based on the available documentation, Sarrafex cannot be described as «hacked» or a «scammer». The absence of such a report, of course, does not mean a complete guarantee of the platform's security or financial health.

On the other hand, there are numerous user reports of delays in or inability to withdraw funds, and a review of recent data also confirms that Rial and crypto withdrawals were disabled at several consecutive points in 1405. This situation is not evidence of a hack or fraud, but it is a serious operational warning, because access to assets and timely execution of withdrawals is one of the main criteria for gauging the health of any centralized exchange. Until a stable return of withdrawals and effective support responsiveness are independently confirmed, holding large or long-term amounts on Sarrafex will carry considerable risk.

Cryptocurrency Variety on SarrafEx Exchange

In terms of the variety of trading markets, Sarrafex has relatively broad coverage among Iranian exchanges. In addition to well-known cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Solana, Ripple, Tron and Cardano, users of this platform have access to a range of tokens in DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2, artificial intelligence, blockchain gaming and meme coins. Most assets are traded in two base markets: Toman (IRT) and Tether (USDT).

In its official introductions, Sarrafex has announced support for more than 200 cryptocurrencies and more than 400 trading pairs. The wide variety of cryptocurrencies is one of Sarrafex's strengths, but the number of listed assets should not be taken as equal to the number of coins with active deposits and withdrawals. The network status, the ability to buy and sell, and the deposit or withdrawal availability of each cryptocurrency may change independently. For this reason, users should check the page of that coin and the status of its transfer network before buying, especially since Sarrafex has at various times published announcements about suspending markets or delisting certain tokens.

SarrafEx Exchange Costs: Deposits, Withdrawals and Fees

The cost of using the SarrafEx crypto exchange can be examined in three parts: deposit fees, withdrawal fees and trading fees. According to SarrafEx's official fee schedule, Toman deposits carry no fee on the exchange's side. Crypto deposits on SarrafEx are also free; however, the user must pay the blockchain network fee at the source. This amount goes to the network's miners or validators and is not counted as SarrafEx revenue.

The Rial withdrawal fee on SarrafEx is stated as 4 thousand Toman per transaction. Rial settlements are processed through Paya cycles on business days, so the time a request is submitted can affect when the funds reach the bank account.

The crypto withdrawal fee is not a fixed amount and is calculated based on the type of cryptocurrency, the transfer network and that network's conditions. It is worth noting that the trading fee in USDT-based markets on this platform is set at 0.15 percent.

 SarrafEx Exchange Trading Fees

The trading fee in SarrafEx's Toman markets is calculated based on the user's trading volume over the past 30 days. The higher the trading volume, the higher the user level and the lower the fee rate. The Maker and Taker rates are the same at each level; as a result, placing a limit order does not earn a separate discount compared with a market order.

SarrafEx Exchange Mobile App

Sarrafex has released its own dedicated app for the Android operating system. Through this app, users can access sections such as buying and selling cryptocurrencies, Toman and Tether markets, the wallet, deposits and withdrawals, live prices and account management.

Reviewing the user experience of the Sarrafex app

Structurally, the Sarrafex app provides integrated access to trading markets, the wallet, live prices and account management, and its user interface is not very complicated for day-to-day operations. Feedback posted on Google Play also shows that some users have been satisfied with its ease of use and the quality of support.

However, the quality of the experience in a financial app is not limited to user interface design. A review of more recent comments on Cafe Bazaar shows that login problems, limited transfer networks and delays in withdrawing assets have affected the practical experience of some users. Overall, the Sarrafex app offers the tools needed for trading and asset management in a relatively simple environment; however, service stability and uninterrupted access to assets remain the most important criteria for assessing its real quality.
