Sarmayeh Gozar Bartar logo

Sarmayegozar Bartar (SGB) prop firm, one of the most reputable Iranian prop firms active in the financial markets, began operating in 2021. According to the information on its website, it offers Iranian traders the opportunity to trade in the financial markets with up to $200,000 of capital provided by Sarmayegozar Bartar and keep up to 90% of the profits they make. In this article, we aim to understand the rules of the Sarmayegozar Bartar challenge and the conditions of each plan so we can make the right choice based on the challenge conditions and our own circumstances.

Types of Prop Firm Challenges

Types of Plans and Challenges at the Sarmayegozar Bartar Prop Firm

To cover a wide range of Iranian traders, Sarmayegozar Bartar offers its accounts under 2 main plans, A and B. Each of these Sarmayegozar Bartar plans has its own rules and benefits, so traders can choose the best option based on their own strategy and personal psychology.

Plan A

The Class A plan is one of the Sarmayegozar Bartar prop challenges and is designed for traders who work with medium-term and short-term strategies (such as scalping) and can reach the profit targets within a set time frame. The standout feature of Plan A is its lower profit targets compared to Plan B, which speeds up the path to a Real account. Traders in this class can purchase accounts with balances from $1000 to $50000.

Plan B

At the Sarmayegozar Bartar prop firm, Plan B is the answer for traders who are not comfortable with the time limits in Plan A (i.e. 30 and 60 days). The conditions of the Sarmayegozar Bartar Plan B are such that the time limit for passing phases 1 and 2 of the challenge has been removed, so traders can carry out their strategy with unlimited time. In addition, the maximum available capital in Plan B has been raised to $200000.

General Rules of Plan A at Sarmayegozare Bartar Prop Firm

Success in the prop challenge requires strict compliance with Sarmayegozar Bartar's rules, which are naturally designed to maintain financial discipline and risk management. In the Class A plan, the trader must successfully pass 2 evaluation phases.

  • Profit target: The profit target is 8 percent in the first phase and 4 percent in the second phase; that is, with $1000 of capital, the first-phase target is $80 and the second-phase target is $40.
  • Time limit: The trader has 30 calendar days to reach the first-phase target and 60 calendar days for the second phase.
  • Minimum trading days: In Plan A, the trader must have at least 5 active trading days to pass the challenge.
  • Drawdown (permitted loss): The daily drawdown is set at 5 percent and the overall drawdown at 12 percent.
  • News trading and holding trades: Trading during the release of economic news is allowed, but this prop firm recommends that, given market instability and the likelihood of slippage and wide spreads during major news, you avoid having open trades as much as possible. Traders are also allowed to keep their positions open at the end of the day or over the weekend; however, any orders on cryptocurrencies on Saturday and Sunday are prohibited.

Profit withdrawal and profit split rules in Plan A

One part of Sarmayegozar Bartar's new rules is the reward and refund structure in the Class A plan.

  • Profit split structure: In the first two months of activity on the real account, 80% of the profits go to the trader, and from the third month onward this share increases to 85%.
  • First withdrawal conditions: To submit your first withdrawal request, at least 3 weeks must have passed since your first trade on the Real account and you must have at least 7 active trading days. From the time of the request until the payout, you must not have any open trades.
  • Second and subsequent withdrawals: The trader can cash out their profits once every 2 weeks.

Review of Sarmayegozare Bartar Plan B Rules

Sarmayegozar Bartar's Plan B has become very popular among professional traders because it removes the time limit. However, because there is no time limit, some parameters, such as the profit target, are different in this class.

  • Profit target: The profit target is 10% in the first phase and 5% in the second phase.
  • Challenge duration: As mentioned, at the Sarmayegozar Bartar prop firm, Plan B has no time limit, and the trader can keep trading until reaching the defined target.
  • Minimum trading days: To pass each phase in Plan B, you only need 3 trading days.
  • Drawdown (maximum allowed loss): As in Plan A, Plan B also applies a 5% daily drawdown and a 12% overall drawdown.

Withdrawal and profit split terms in Plan B

Sarmayegozar Bartar's withdrawal and profit split terms in Plan B are designed in tiers so that consistent traders can earn the most profit, as follows:

  • First withdrawal: 75% with payouts every 3 weeks (after 3 weeks have passed since the first trade + at least 10 trading days)
  • Second to sixth withdrawals: 80% with payouts every 2 weeks
  • Seventh withdrawal onward: 90% with weekly payouts

An important point is that there must be no open positions in the account when submitting a withdrawal request. Also, if the rules are violated on the Real account, any profit remaining in the account up to that moment will not be withdrawable.

Does Sarmayegozare Bartar prop firm allow floating risk?

Yes, the Sarmayegozar Bartar prop firm's rules include a clause called maximum possible risk  whose purpose is to prevent gambling-like behavior and keep the account stable. Under the floating risk limit, the permitted risk for 1000 to 50 thousand dollar accounts is 3%, and for 100 thousand and 200 thousand dollar accounts this figure is 2%. Exceeding the stated risk percentage is considered a rule violation.

If the floating risk rule is deliberately violated during the challenge phases, your account will be reset. On a Real account, however, deliberately violating this rule means losing the account. Exceeding the stated risk percentage due to slippage is not considered a rule violation.

What is the tick scalping rule at Sarmayegozare Bartar?

The Sarmayegozar Bartar Tick Scalp rule is one of the technical points in this prop firm's challenge rules, set to distinguish genuine trades from potential exploitation of price delays. Under this rule, trades that are opened and closed in less than 30 seconds are considered «tick scalping» or «fast scalping».

With tick scalping, if the total profit from it is less than 20% of the target in the challenge or 20% of the final profit in the Real account, there is no problem. But if it exceeds 20 percent, the account will be reset, whatever stage it is in.

What is the 80% rule at Sarmayegozare Bartar prop firm?

When reviewing Sarmayegozar Bartar's withdrawal conditions, some traders worry about restrictions that other prop firms have under the name of the 80% rule (earning more than 80% of profit from a single trade). However, according to our inquiry with Sarmayegozar Bartar prop firm's support, this rule is not enforced at this prop firm. At this prop firm, there is no requirement to earn a minimum profit, and traders can also earn up to 90% of the profit from their trades.
