Moneta Markets broker was launched in July 2020 as a subsidiary of the group VantageFX or (Vantage Group), run by Eric M. Kittner to attract novice traders using the parent company's infrastructure. 

In September 2022, Moneta became an independent entity, and despite its short history as a standalone company, its website claims «over 10 years of experience», which probably refers to the parent company's history. This can be a red flag for traders looking for transparency. The headquarters of Moneta broker is in South Africa .

The broker claims over 70,000 clients are active, with a monthly trading volume of more than $100 billion .
