Wallet Check

Before you send Tether or crypto, check the destination address: sanctions, Tether freezes, transactions with high-risk addresses and the address owner; free, no sign-up.

Network:

Only the wallet's public address is needed. Never enter a private key or recovery phrase (12 or 24 words) on any site.

How does it work?

Three steps, no sign-up
  1. 1

    Enter the address

Paste the destination wallet address; the network is picked from the address's format.

  2. 2

    The blockchain is read

The sanctions list, the Tether and USDC contracts and the address's recent transactions are read from public sources on the spot.

  3. 3

    A clear result

A status light, the details of each check, the main counterparties and a list of what was not checked.

What is checked?

We say plainly what we check and what we don't

OFAC sanctions list

Is this address on the US Treasury's list of sanctioned addresses? The list is updated every day.

ترون، اتریوم، BSC، بیت‌کوین

Tether and USDC freezes

Have Tether or Circle frozen this address? It is read straight from the token's own contract.

ترون (USDT)، اتریوم (USDT و USDC)

Transactions with high-risk addresses

In recent transactions, did it deal directly with a sanctioned, frozen, mixer or scam address? The direction of the transaction matters too.

ترون، اتریوم، بیت‌کوین

Address owner

From explorers' labels and Teagle's address list; a deposit address that sends its balance to an exchange's hot wallet is recognised too. Sanctioned exchanges (such as Nobitex) are shown as «high risk» and Iranian exchanges as «caution».

ترون، اتریوم

Wallet profile

Balance, number of transactions, first and last activity; a newly created wallet with high volume deserves extra caution.

What is not checked

Indirect, multi-step links and scams not yet on any public list; we say so plainly in every result.

What is a Tether freeze?

The most important risk to know about

Tether (issuer of USDT) and Circle (issuer of USDC) can «freeze» an address in their token contract, usually at the request of judicial authorities or in connection with sanctions, hacks and scams. From then on the Tether or USDC in that address cannot be moved, and anything sent to it later stays stuck there.

So before you send Tether to an unfamiliar address, for example a P2P seller or an intermediary, check that it is not frozen. Teagle's wallet check reads the freeze status straight from Tether's own contract on TRON and Ethereum. Tether on BSC (Binance-Peg) has no such feature.
