Trive broker is a relatively new brokerage with long-standing backing in the financial industry. It has operated since 2022 with Malta as its country of registration and sits under the umbrella of Trive Financial Holding, based in the Netherlands. In this overview, we review its licenses, accounts, platforms and, most importantly, Trive's status for Iranian users based on Teagle's data.
What kind of broker is Trive?
Trive's parent holding includes a group of companies active in banking, investment, wealth management and insurance, and it presents the Trive brand as a "gateway to global markets." According to Teagle's expert, Trive grew out of the GKFX brokerage and is gaining a share of the global market with modern technology. The broker offers forex, stocks, indices, commodities and crypto CFDs; leverage on crypto CFDs is up to 1:5, and the maximum overall leverage recorded in Teagle's specifications is 1:2000.
Trive broker licenses and credibility
Trive's promotional materials talk about multiple licenses in various countries, but the list of verified licenses in Teagle's latest review shows two:
- ASIC Australia: active;
- FSC: active.
The numbers of these licenses are not recorded in Teagle's data. The important point is that even if a user manages to register, they are usually placed under the group's offshore entity and do not benefit from the protections of a top-tier regulator. We have explained the difference between these two levels in the article What are offshore and onshore brokers and the guide Broker regulation tiers .
Does Trive serve Iranians?
No. Trive has explicitly stated that it does not provide services to residents of sanctioned countries, including Iran. The broker has no Persian website, support or even IB, and to resolve any issue, from identity verification to trading disputes, you need to be fluent in English (or Turkish and Arabic). Some users have said that registering with a VPS and a static non-Iranian IP was possible, but identity verification requires valid non-Iranian documents and an IP matching the country of those documents; otherwise, there is a risk of the account being blocked. According to Teagle's expert, Trive is very strict in this regard due to its European structure and banking oversight. Before taking any action, read the article Brokers prohibited for Iranians .
Trive trading accounts
According to Teagle's account table, Trive has five account types, all offered on MT4 and MT5, with a stop-out level of 20% across the board:
- Standard and Pro accounts: commission-free, with floating spreads from 1.2 pips.
- VIP account: minimum deposit of $2000, commission-free, with spreads from 0.6 pips.
- ECN account: raw spreads from zero and a commission of $10 per lot.
- Cent account: a cent account with spreads from 1.2 pips.
All accounts except the cent account have an Islamic version, although its details are not officially explained in the broker's legal documents. The $10 commission on the ECN account is high for cost-sensitive scalpers; for a sensible comparison, see Introduction to ECN accounts and comparison with other accounts .
Trive platforms and services
Trive supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView, and according to Teagle's expert, its TradingView integration is an important advantage for technical analysts; we have explained how it works in How to connect your broker account to TradingView . The broker's services include bonuses, cashback, rebates, education, PAMM and MAM, expert advisors and trading robots, referral rewards, calculators and a glossary. Trading Central and an economic calendar are also available, and according to feedback, order execution speed under normal market conditions has been reported as good and without requotes.
Deposits and withdrawals at Trive
A complete table of Trive's payment methods is not recorded in Teagle's data. According to Teagle's expert, deposit methods include Visa and Mastercard, Sticpay and Tether (USDT), and the only practical option for Iranians is crypto; the cost of converting rials to Tether and network fees (TRC20 or ERC20) are borne by the client. Withdrawals usually take 1 to 3 business days, a 0.5% fee applies to some methods, and currency conversion costs 0.9%. If you are going for a Tether deposit, review Common mistakes when buying Tether .
Trive's rating and risk on Teagle
Trive's final rating on Teagle is 3.06 out of 5, derived from the average of four sources: WikiFX 3.92, Teagle's expert 3.7, Trustpilot 3.6 and Forex Peace Army 1. No ratings from Teagle users have been recorded yet. The Teagle Eye risk score for this broker is 33 out of 100, in the "low to medium risk" category; two active licenses have raised its safety score, but the brand's four-year track record and its average reputation scores have held it back. For Iranian users, sanctions risk and the risk of account blocking should be considered separately from this score.
Pros and cons of Trive broker
- Pro: backing from an international financial holding and an active ASIC license

- Pro: commission-free accounts, an ECN account and a cent account
- Pro: PAMM and MAM services, Trading Central and an economic calendar
- Con: no services for Iranians and a high risk of account blocking
- Con: no Persian support, website or IB
- Con: $10 commission on the ECN account, plus withdrawal and currency conversion fees
- Con: trading conditions vary by region and regulatory entity
Who is Trive suitable for?
In the view of Teagle's expert, Trive is a good option for traders based in Europe, technical analysts who rely on TradingView, and those who want forex and US stocks on a single platform. It is not recommended for traders living in Iran, cost-sensitive scalpers, or beginners with small capital. If you are looking for a broker with Persian support, see Trive vs. Monta Markets comparison .
Conclusion
Trive is a serious brokerage in terms of financial structure, platforms and account variety, but it has not given the green light to users inside Iran, and unofficial registration carries the risk of having your funds frozen. If you are outside Iran and plan to use it, start with small capital, make a test withdrawal and follow the latest warnings on the investment risk warning page .
